Facing Hair Loss? Try A Natural Cure!
Thousands of people face hair loss due to old age, chemotherapy, heredity, and other reasons. In fact, over half of people over the age of 80 face this problem. The good news is that there are natural cures out there which may be able to help you fight back! We’ll look at the options available as well as what the skeptics have to say about natural hair restoration cures. Let’s start with mixtures you can make in your own kitchen. Asians use sesame soil on their head applied nightly. Each morning, they use herbal shampoo to wash their hair, then follow that up with a rinse comprised of a quart of water mixed with a tablespoon of raw apple cider. Meanwhile, the Russians use a different mixture. Their nightly solution contains the juice from a medium sized onion, 1.5 fl. oz. of vodka, and a tablespoon of honey. A third solution leaves out the vodka and calls for 1 tbsp. of honey and ¼ cup of onion juice. Finally, a fourth mixture combines a 1:1 ratio of oil of rosemary and olive oil (shaken vigorously). Beyond nightly applications, some people also recommend various hair tonics to be applied and worn during the day. Coconut oil is one example. Herbal sage tea and assorted Chinese plants are also used by some. Pundits say that these products are all ineffective and those who peddle them are frauds. They say that advertisers claim all these miracle cures and tonics and hype up the results to deceive the general public. My suggestion is to simply do your homework—research all the solutions and decide if any of them are right for you. Now, for some caveat emptors:
Basically, natural cures for hair loss, used responsibly, may restore your hair without the use of drugs such as minoxidil. Nonetheless, there are certain risks and possible side effects with even natural cures. Be sure to ask a healthcare provider before beginning any regimen.
